Andrea Lange graduated from the Kripalu Bodywork and Therapeutic Massage program offered at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, Massachusetts. Kripalu Bodywork is an intuitive practice. It is an energetic exchange between the giver and the receiver through the naturally harnessed power of mother earth.

Kripalu Bodywork is a yoga founded massage combining several healing modalities, which include Prana (the yogic breath), Swedish Massage, Energy Balancing, Shiatsu, Sound Therapy, Positional Release, Deep Tissue Massage and Stone Therapy. With each new modality learnt, Andrea finds a way to naturally incorporate it into her practice, in order to deepen the benefits of touch. Andrea has worked out of the Pointe-Claire Holistique Center since moving to the West Island in the year 2000.

Having learned techniques from some of the most respected teachers in North America, Andrea has created her own blend of hands-on bodywork which calms the inner core, connecting the mind, body and spirit!

The Kripalu Philosophy
Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health is an experiential educational milieu where people can come to learn how to become a more integrated and masterful human. Learning to become truly human and truly alive is an intricate process that by definition is self-directed. When you pull apart the DNA of an individual’s spiritual aspirations you’ll find many different strands.

Kripalu’s broad, nonsectarian approach is based on the honest and unfettered inquiry into all philosophies, techniques, and approaches that produce thriving in the individual, community, and world. This includes practices from many of the world’s wisdom traditions along with health sciences, growth psychology, and the work of today’s pioneers in the study of consciousness. The heart of Kripalu remains constant: a place for people to develop physical health, nurture emotional wellness, and draw spiritual sustenance.

Kripalu’s vision is simple: to continue to experience the extraordinary—your most authentic self. The intention is for you to leave with a clear sense of how to sustain this experience amidst the realities of your own life and to have tools for generating more freedom, vitality, and fulfillment in your life and the world around you.

During this time in society, when fear, anger, and violence seem to be growing at an alarming rate, it is vital that Kripalu exists and flourishes—for renewal, inspiration, and refuge. For the past 30 years, individuals from all over the world have come to Kripalu and found a supportive environment for self-discovery and exploration and a community of fellow travelers dedicated to the pursuit of inner peace and integration.
